You choose what is public

Anyone with your tag’s NFC or QR link can view the fields you enable. Call and WhatsApp buttons share their underlying numbers. Lost mode also publishes the last-seen area and message you enter.

Private information

Customer information is restricted to the customer’s account. The production console does not provide routine access to pet profiles, contacts or finder reports. Pet photos are stored privately and their visibility is checked before public delivery.

Finder reports

Reports are available to the owner for 30 days, or until the owner deletes them. Location sharing is optional and records one position only.

Retention

Activation attempts are kept for 30 days. If scan events are collected, they are kept for 12 months. Security audit records are kept for 24 months.

MVP service

Automatic email and SMS finder alerts are not enabled. Owners should check their account for reports. Poppy Tags is not a GPS tracker or emergency service.
